this is how it works.

You have a deck of 52 cards. do a full squat, put one card down. get up, then squat down pick the one card up.

squat down put one card down, get up, squat down put another card down get up, then squat down pick one card up get up, squat down pick the 2nd card up get up.

Go until you put all 52 cards down, then pick them up.

First guy to record him self doing the whole deck wins.

But there is a kicker. in exactly 20 hours after posting the video you have to post a video of you up walking around.

I have 100.00 USD pay pal to the first guy that can pull it off.

So basically...
Do 104 body squats?

nope more like alot of squats :D
for first card it's 2 squats for second it's 4 squats for 3rd it's 6 etc. meaning it's 104 squats for the last card. Mathematically it's sum function of 2n where n goes from 1 to 52. Which is 26x106 = 2756 squats with your own bodyweight.

No thank you I have better things to do this evening.

When i was rehabbing from ACL surgery, i had to do something similar (body squats, not 52 card 2(n)).

She had me stack these plastic things to about seat height, and watch the clock. for 60 seconds i had to squat till my ass barely touched the seat and stand back up. I could only do 30 the first time, and had to do it twice.

I was ****ed for the next 3 days (I was grossly out of shape before my rehab, sitting @ 265, my only workout consisting of walking to the coke machine and back to my desk). I felt like an 90 year old trying to climb just 3 steps to get in the door of my kids daycare.

Just did the same exercise twice the other day and was about to do 60 in 60 seconds both times, which is where the PT person wanted me to be anyways (had i been able to stay in rehab)

It's not possible.
Ok, it's possible, lets determine how likely it is.

You're doing one squat for the first card, 2 for the second, 4 for the third, 8 for the fourth. . .and so on til you get all 52, right? So that's

2n-1

=

251

= 2,251,799,813,685,248 squats.

Further, you said you want a video after 20 hours, so lets say that is the time limit. That's

2 quadrillion, two hundred and fifty-one trillion, seven hundred ninety-nine billion, eight hundred and thirteen million, six hundred and eighty five thousand, two hundred and forty-eight squats. In 20 hours.

so that's 1.125899906842624×1014 squats in an hour, or just over

31 million squats per second.

I don't know how to calculate how probable that is, so I'll let you ballpark it where you like.

Why did you post this?

I think your math is wrong. It's [ 2 x (52!) ] which is a lot less. I forget the excel function for that.

edit: It's not the ! operator, that's multiplying. Anyway, it's 2756 squats. Still a stupid number to do.

2*52! = 1.6131635 × 1068

:-D

which is not a lot smaller

btw it goes like: 2 squats, 4 squats, 6 squats, ... = 2*(1 + 2 + ... + 52) = 2*[(52)*(51)/2] = 2652

the more u know

Oh, I didn't understand the sequence. I thought it doubled each card.
