So I'm looking for a little advice on taking daily fish oils and multivitamins.

For the fish oils would NOW Super EPA (Omega 3 Double Strength) (http://www.supplementscanada.com/popeyes/product3819.html) be ok?
Seems to have the best cost factor.
I read the Stupid question: Fish oil (http://www.tribalwar.com/forums/showthread.php?t=592686&highlight=vitamins) thread and based on that I would have to take 4 capsules a day to reach 2g epa/dha per day.
Edit: hmmm look what Costco has. (http://www.costco.ca/Browse/Product.aspx?Prodid=10291 049&whse=BCCA&Ne=4000000&eCat=BCCA|589|770&N=4009284&Mo=64&pos=2&No=15&Nr=P_CatalogName:BCCA&cat=1010&Ns=P_Price|1||P_SignDesc1&lang=en-CA&Sp=C&ec=BCCA-EC1129-Cat589&topnav=)

Now for Multivitamins I have no idea what to get. Does anything here (http://www.supplementscanada.com/popeyes/multivitamins-minerals.html) stand out or will any generic multivitamin do? Like say this one from Costco. (http://www.costco.ca/Browse/Product.aspx?Prodid=10297 692&whse=BCCA&Ne=4000000&eCat=BCCA|589|770&N=4009979&Mo=2&pos=2&No=0&Nr=P_CatalogName:BCCA&cat=22284&Ns=P_Price|1||P_SignDesc1&lang=en-CA&Sp=C&ec=BCCA-EC1129-Cat589&topnav=)

1000mg doesnt mean youre getting 1000mg's of EPA and DHA.. also make sure when you get fish oils they are enteric coated. It will help with fish burps which bother the hell out of me

I take this, recommended in the other thread
NSI Mega EFAŽ Omega-3 EPA & DHA -- 2126 mg - 240 Softgels - Vitacost (http://www.vitacost.com/NSI-Mega-EFA-Omega-3-EPA-DHA-2126-mg-240-Softgels)
800 EPA
400 DHA
per 2 pills.

I take one with breakfast 1 at lunch. (I also break my vitamins and two and split the dose. It makes my pee less yellow so maybe that means I can absorb more? who knows)

just because you dont see a reason doesnt mean there isnt one.

im not sure there is enough research yet on fish oil's effect on body fat for a review. there is one for cardiovascular disease:

Evidence suggests that increased consumption of n–3 FAs from fish or fish-oil supplements, but not of ALA, reduces the rates of all-cause mortality, cardiac and sudden death, and possibly stroke.

n-3 Fatty acids from fish or fish-oil supplements, but not {alpha}-linolenic acid, benefit cardiovascular disease outcomes in primary- and secondary-prevention studies: a systematic review -- Wang et al. 84 (1): 5 -- American Journal of Clinical Nutr (http://www.ajcn.org/cgi/content/full/84/1/5)

heres a random body fat study:

FO supplements and regular exercise both reduce body fat and improve cardiovascular and metabolic health. Increasing intake of n–3 FAs could be a useful adjunct to exercise programs aimed at improving body composition and decreasing cardiovascular disease risk.
