for me it would've had to have been around 4 years ago, I tried to make a stuffed pork chop and wow did I over season the fuck out of the mushrooms that I used to stuff it (with rosemary I think) and all the cheese melted out during cooking (over-cooking lol)

made it damn near uneatable and this was for the in laws smiled and ate I'm sure the entire time thinking holy fuck is this horrible.

luckily I've not done that since.

i dunno when it was but once i tried to make toffee and i followed a stupid recipe that said to put X amount of salt in

i felt like it was a lot but i ignored my better judgment and put it all in

ech

i still ate a lot of them but they were pretty salty

everything else i make mostly comes out alright even when i think i fucked it up

if it doesnt it probably goes into the garbage. i wouldnt make someone eat something i wasnt happy with.

A Vietnamese dish I was attempting was my worst. I used too much fish sauce and the whole thing stank worse than an unwashed nuggets cunt after a marathon.

walked away from cooking rice once and came back with it entirely burned (or nearly so).

i dont think i've ever ruined anything i was paying attention to though. i think that's the sole cause of mistakes - not paying attention.

My first attempt at making fried rice I used too much oil. I thought the rice would actually get crispy, but instead it was greasy.

I like to mess around with risotto and put whatever I can find around the house in to it. I put waaaaay to much cayenne and hot sauce in to it once; I like spicy food but I couldn't eat it. Waste of 30 minutes.

Were you doing that thing where you bake it inside a cave of salt?

Hah, I fucked up some fried rice the other day. Was in a big hurry and had no real idea on how to make it. I was just sauteing rice and shit around and added raw eggs.

Turned into goopy shit really fast.
