[Guitar] Sampled instruments plus electric

Today I was tweaking my Triaxis rig (Mesa Triaxis + 20/20 Poweramp + 4x12 Mesa cab) to sound good with sampled instruments, in this case a piano and cello. I wrote a two-chord vamp for the backing track and wanked on top of it with some improvised electric guitar.

It's a bit thrown together for a piece of music, but I'd like to hear what you guys think of the overall sound. Does the electric guitar sound good? Do the instruments "get along"? I plan to write some pieces for electric guitar with chamber/orchestral instruments in the background. Electric guitar concertos, if you will.

Edit: Reposting today with more instruments.

it gets along but you really need to learn how to play guitar or keep the phrasing simple. No fast passages or tapping.

Damn, Fel, still rocking that 20/20? It's like a Porsche with a VW engine in back.... :)

It sounds all right. It sounds like the neck pickup on a guitar playing along with a string patch and a piano patch. What you're asking for is how the sound is placed with the other instruments - but since there's so little competition, it's hard to say anything other than it sounds fine.

Put some tympani and oboe in there, with some flutes, violins, cellos and cymbals - and I'll be better able to tell you. With all those competing frequencies, it'll be a lot easier to comment on your tone.

Sounds like the Green I channel with a little gain....clue us Triaxis owners in. Metropolis has one too.

Yep, that's LD2 Green with about 3.5 Gain and 3.0 Lead 2 Drive... I'll record something different with more instruments and post it again. Thanks for the feedback.
