How can I cut without running? (alternatives?)

I used to run but i hate it so much so i've been using the eliptical and its working pretty well but it gets boring. what do you guys do for cutting?

I'm currently on the keto diet and do lots of cardio, but thats just me.. (I have a lot of fat to lose)

However from what I've read there are lots of people who don't hardly do any cardio while on keto... maybe you could give that a shot?

you can get a good workout on an elliptical if you bust your ass and do intervals or something

most of the clowns on an elliptical go 6 mph and dont even break a sweat...how can they call that a workout?

Google: Paleo Diet (basically only lean meats, fish, eggs, veggies, nuts, minimal fruits....no dairy, processed carbs, etc).

Then go to: Crossfit.com
Add in some swimming 3x / week

I usually do work on the elliptical after my workout, when my heartrate is already at 70% max and even a jog will keep it elevated.

I'm completely unable to run due to medical reasons. :( I don't have access to a pool either.

one thing i noticed watching the olympics is that swimmers and short distance track runners are insanely fucking ripped.

swimming is actually safest form of doing cardio..
no damage to joints, no stress on legs etc.
