Random Disconnects Since Patch 3.2.0

I know a handful of you have had severe disconnect issues since the patch. Some of it is relative to your network/ISP/ISP Peers. Other possibilities, as you suspected, may be mods, WTF folder, and the patch.

Despite Blizzard's claims otherwise, there is a reported corruption problem with the patch downloading and processing.

If you have already done everything possible (updated your routers, checked your ports, spoke with your ISP, did your tracerts, updated your network card drivers, deleted your WTF folders and have tried enabling/disabling most of your addons that seem suspect), then try this below. It worked for a lot of people. Supposedly, the patch can potentially be corrupt when downloading it. Following these instructions will teach you how to delete the patch files in your Data folder and how to use the repair tool to redownload a new patch data file.

We had two guildies (warrior tank and warlock) that would disconnect at the exact same time on the same parts of encounters (such as the starting pull on the Thorim encounter). Fortunately the tank is now back at his dorm (warlock was his father, was with him during the summer) and doesn't get DC'd as often anymore. Though sometimes on that Thorim pull more than just them would DC (including me).

It's just another option that's available. A lot of people have reported that it works after they tried it. Others are still having the same issues.

I am only trying it because I dc'ed 3 times in arena last week and it blew.

I think quest helper is crashing/disconnecting me. Check that out if you're using it and having problems.

I don't know about random disconnects but I have noticed some of my auctions have been "disappearing" as of late. So far the items of note were a tempered titansteel helmet, a king's amber and a cardinal ruby (the gems were lost on one toon). No auctions up, no money in bank, the item simply disappears into the AH and there's no gold, mail, or anything of it.
