new bike

Just picked up a new Scott CR1 Team with full Shimano 105 drivetrain. Pretty pumped. I took it for a spin yesterday and it's an amazing ride. It's my first road bike, let alone carbon frame, so it's rediculously light and quick compared to the hybrid that I use to ride around town. Anyone else in the market, or recently acquired a new bike?

next year i'll be selling my mountain bike and getting a road/triathlon bike. Im too old for trail riding.

I just got a new Janus Hybrid to ride with the family. It's nice, I went out for about 10 miles this morning just for fun.

I just committed to buy my friend's 2005 Giant VT 1. I took it through some local trails yesterday, and that rear suspension is awesome compared to my hardtail Cannondale F400.

My neighbor just bought himself a new single speed road bike with a frame made of bamboo. It looks beautiful.

A week ago at this time I owned two bicycles. I now own four (in order of acquisition: softride road bike, bianchi san jose SS CX bike, cheap chinese-made cruiser, old full-rigid specialized rockhopper)

I was planning on converting the rockhopper to SS for commute use but it's in such good shape I'd feel bad. I might pull the small chainring and front derailleur and just go 1x7 for a while.

I would like at least one, but probably two more bikes (FS XC mtb, fixie)
