question about discoveries

what's the easiest way for me to figure out how many discoveries i have left in a certain profession? specifically im talking about alchemy and inscription. any good mods?

Seems like from a transmutation standpoint they upped the discovery rates significantly from Outlands to Northrend. I got all the eternal discoveries (sans the Eternal Might) in the span of about two weeks just doing elemental transmutations. The Outlands one I did for two weeks straight without one discovery.
