hahahahaha
I remember back in BlizzCon '07 when we were all so lazy, we dismantled the chairs in one of the halls so that we could SIT in line rather than stand for the Closing Ceremony in the auditorium.
This year, at least 25% of the population was willing to stand up to see panels in Hall C. They stood up for an HOUR. You couldn't get through no matter what.
Then at the concert, you couldn't see, because those same athletic sportsfans were standing up despite the fact that they had excellent seats. I never saw more than a glimpse of Ozzy's head.
I didn't like the concert for the first two songs and considered walking out... cause all I could see was a bunch of people's heads and winamp visualizations on the screens.
When Ozzy and the band were displayed on the screen, things went much better. I loved it. But I still wished that those over-enthusiastic people would've just taken their seat instead of ruining the view for the rest of us.
I'd like to return to a smaller, more dedicated geek crowd. Maybe require a copy of medical reports or something and if someone is able to stand in one spot for more than an hour without needing a seat, you could deny them a ticket or something?
Other than feeling generally more disconnected from the attendees this year (I cite lack of Horde enthusiasm as a contributing factor), I had a great time and I'm looking forward to next year.

^^Horde demolished Alliance just about everytime some bum on the stage would pit horde vs. alliance in a battle cry. I would say Horde was much more enthusiastic than the alliance.

The last concert I sat down for was seeing "Live" when I was 22. My GF loved them, we had crappy seats, and I just chilled there while lightning crashed all around me. That was also the first concert I sat down for (excluding casino shows).
I would probably enjoy blizzcon but the closet-nerd in me generally wishes to remain there and the thought of being out'ed terrifies me :S
But if someone at Blizzcon recognizes you, you are both nerds...
