Looking for Newbie PVP guide

Hi all,
I am looking for good recommended guide on getting started pvp.
I just started the game and should have a cruiser in a day or so.
I have been following the Caldari guide on Getting started in EvE the painless and easy way [Archive] - Page 2 - TribalWar Forums (http://www.tribalwar.com/forums/archive/t-510087-p-2.html)

I need to know things like what areas are safe[r] for me to attack at being that I am a newbie (I think 0.0 would be suicide, right?). How to find ships to attack. What to look for (so I don't attack something that is going to end me quickly) etc....

Anyone?

join TW group.
Get able to fly a frigate with a AB/MWD and a scrambler.
Thats all you need to have good fun cheap pvp.

I spent so much time on that guide, and now it's SO out of date :|
