Attributes Question on Newbie Setup

Hi Guys,
I am trying to follow the Getting started in EvE the painless and easy way [Archive] - Page 2 - TribalWar Forums (http://www.tribalwar.com/forums/archive/t-510087-p-2.html) Caldari, Civire Bloodline setup and it has:
Add 2 Perception, 2 Memory, 1 Intelligence
Mercs Ancestry adds another 4 Willpower

When I started my character it had my attributes already mapped. So I am a bit confused on this. Can someone explain how I "Add" these to my current setup? Or do I Remap the attributes somehow to match this?

Sorry about the newb question. I am just lost.

The character setup was changed with the last patch. Bloodlines no longer give specific attributes. New characters get to specifically set their attributes. All characters also get an attribute re-map once per year.
