So I've been going to the gym for months now and have adjusted my diet. Obviously I'm not perfect with it but I do pretty well.

But I'm just not really losing weight anymore. I've increased the intensity of my workout and frequency as well but I'm not seeing the results. Is there anything I can take that will help?

Obviously there isn't any real fat burning pills that you just take to lose weight but I'm sure that this must be something that can help in combination with diet and exercise.

Post a day or twos worth of diet and exercise, your current height/weight/bodyfat, etc.

Also, do you take fish oil supplement?

I just started taking fish oil last week. I also take a mens multivitamin.

Generally I go to the gym 3-4 days a week (during lunch), I do 45 minutes on the elliptical then I work on free weights doing say 3 sets of three different machines. I'm doing and 3 sets of crunches (50)

I also so some hiking on the weekends and yard work.

Diet is pretty much the same during the week.

Breakfast: raisin bran fiber one
10am fruit salad (cantaloupe, honeydew, coconut *just started adding it*, blueberries or grapes, and pineapple)

11:45: fiber one bar, coffee

2pm sandwich with whole wheat bread, nuts with yogurt raisins. Maybe a plum or other piece of fruit.

7pm Just a normal dinner. Usually I'll have some tea before bed but otherwise that's pretty much it.

I'm about 6' and I weight about 320. I do have a massive frame so even really fit the doc said I should be fine around 230.

But considering all the work I do I should be losing much more weight.

are you monitoring your heart rate on the elliptical
how high are you getting

can you add additional days in the gym?

is your weight really not changing at all still? at your weight with that diet I am really surprised.

Weighing as much as I do is why I do the elliptical, when it's not so bad on my knees I plan to start jogging. I do a little when I go in the trails. Anyway, my heart rate goes from 15-165.

The gym is at work so it's only open during the week. I usually take Wednesday off because I'm usually sore. But 4 days is a lot especially considering how busy I am on the weekends.

edit: I am losing weight. I've lost over 30lbs but it's taken forever to get this far. I'm just wondering if there's any supplements that can help.

No idea, but looking at everything I may cut out the fiber one bar and cut down on the nuts some.

LOL, I don't know the name of all the machines I use.

Monday: Bench, chest machine, triceps machine.

Tuesday: Curls (where you lay back at an angle), chest machine in reverse (for my back) Regular curles

Thursday: incline bench, various shoulder excercies with free weights.

Friday: bench, curls, chest

I do three sets of each.

Your diet and routine are both shit. Read through other threads of people asking the exact same questions

Your diet consists of carbs, mainly bad ones at that, no healthy fats, and very little protein. Read up on dieting on here or bodybuilding.com nutrition section so you stop wasting even more time, I dont know a nice way to put all this.

Stop using shitty machines and why the fuck aren't you doing legs?

rather than start a new thread I'll ask in here, how long does it realistically take for creatine to start working? I started it last wednesday and haven't really noticed a boost

just to save you some time - you can cut out those crunches, they really aren't going to help you lose weight.

I started it last wednesday and haven't really noticed a boostabout a week. what is your daily dose? creatine is a very subtle effect. the only difference I note is that I can get a couple extra reps when I use it on some exercises. most times I can't notice a big effect at all...

Most people use creatine the same as using a multi vitamin.. if you think its making you swole and whatnot its mainly a placebo effect which isnt necessarily a bad thing. Lots of people take creatine year round in lower doses and have no negative effects from it. Read up on creatine as some will make you bloated due to the way its retaining water

10g per day

if it is a subtle effect is it worth taking at all really?
