Horde: start working towards your Venomhide Ravasaur mount

Mov'vek (http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=11701) starts the chain in Un'goro.

The first quest requires you to be spit on by the Venomhide Ravasaur (http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=6508) twenty times. You must be hitting them to make them spit on you. Being level 80 it's hard to hit them too many times before they die, so get naked (lowest stats possible) and use your fists, a Blacksmith Hammer (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=5956), or something else with really low DPS. You can probably get spit on 20 times with two ravasaurs.

Turn that quest in and you'll need to gather four Venomhide Ravasaur Eggs (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=46364) which are all over the place that the ravasaurs walk around, glittering and rather obvious.

The next quest gives you a Venomhide Hatchling (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=46362). It will offer a daily quest you have to do 20 times to get baby teeth that you turn in with gold, runecloth, and rugged leather to obtain your Whistle of the Venomhide Ravasaur (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=46102).

So it looks like it isn't an epic mount?

Edit: after reading comments on wowhead it looks like it might scale up.

got 4 teeth so far. But i'm doing it on an alt who happened to be in the level range when the patch came out, so not sure if i'll finish :(

I just started yesterday, so I'm only up to 2 teeth. But I like the Raptor mounts, so I don't mind spending a few minutes in Un'goro every day after my other dailies are done :shrug:

Raptor mounts are by far the coolest looking mounts for Orcs and Tauren imo.
