Looks interesting but I'm not certain that it actually provides as much diversity in sound as the proponents maintain.

Anyone try it?

I'd try it if I played a Les Paul.

It a harness in which the volume and tone pots are push pull switches.

Neck Vol: Splits neck to stud coil.

Neck tone: Lifts bridge ground, grounds neck hot. (Dependent on placement of 3-way.)

Bridge vol: Splits bridge to adjustable coil.

Bridge tone: reverses phase of bridge.

Thats it in a nutshell. But the combo's get more complex.


We will use the following notation:

N: neck pickup
B: bridge pickup
+: in parallel with
&: in series with
-IC: Inside coil (slug)
-OC: outside coil (screw)
-HB: humbucker
-OOP: out-of-phase
*: any position
d: down / pushed
u: up/ pulled

I am doing this.
First I have to convert my 490s from 2 conductor to 4 conductor.
