I gotta say dat dis iz much betta than I expected it fo be cuz I had 2 decks befo dis one. Da ferst one was one Kenwood, which wasnt dat bad, but it ste missin da high end sounds dat I like alot. Afta dat I got a Sony deck, which was pretty cool cuz it could change colors and stuffs and da highs was pretty aight, but den da DSO feetcher kinda wen mess wit da highs at louder volumes, so den I had fo cut out da DSO wen lisning loud. So den I wen try out dis Pioneer, and I jus hafta say that dis one is da one. Da mane ting I was goin fo was da 7-band EQ, which makes everyting sound way betta. Da EQ bringd out da highs, and let me say dat it definetlee bringd out da lows! Wit a sub all you gotta do is boost up da low frequensees, witout even raisin da "bass" and it will more den just fill out da low end. And on top of da frequencee increes, wit da "bass" increes, there is also a "subwoofer" increes. My little 8" Ported Assassin sub pounds jus as much as my old seeld 12" sub. And da "loudness" has 3 setings, low, medium, and high, wit every one enhansing da low and da highs. I jus gotta say dat dis one is awesome! Oh yeah, da display is nice to!

just an fyi, my friend has this exact model for his car, its very nice,

I'm guessing that he GM adapter will work for Chevy? Either way I might be interested, the ipod interface alone is worth half of that.

If I didn't have to shell out $800 in radiator repairs and damage I would be all over this :(

The radio comes with no adapter, and you have to attach (via splicing) the hook up for your car. You can look it up on Crutchfield: LCD TV, Car Audio, Home Theater, Speakers, Plasma TV (http://www.crutchfield.com). You might have to make a seperate purchase unless.

Pioneer makes good stuff, I used to have that iPod adapater, I had a different head unit (bigger screen w/ more colors I think), and it worked great

Worked on my 1st gen ipod touch & my ipod classic
