OP: Some grocery stores have one. Pick the biggest one around and ask a manager.

My bank had to call a notary in from another location. After waiting a hour for the notary to arrive, he called and said he would be there as soon as possible. I left after another hour of waiting. It was around 4pm when I left. The bank called me at 6pm to tell me he had just arrived.

Which is right when the bank closed. Apparently it takes 4 hours to drive less then 5 miles.

Edit: Side note: I did offer to drive over to the bank location where the notary was, but they told me that bank was closing early for some reason

Any government building (city hall, court, etc...). depending on what city you're in, they may be open.

UPS store/fedex kinkos

ppl sometimes drive around with ads on their cars saying they are notary publics. I stopped for gas one at the same time one such card did as well and she got like 3 ppl right then and there heh.

Most UPS Stores have notary's at them.. find the nearest one online and call them to make sure they have one on staff before you drive out there...

I think they charge like $5 or something like that.

Car dealers usually have a notary available.

Insurance companies.

Bonding agent (jail bonds)
