ManyLith 05-21-2009, 01:23 PM Well...here's a couple Flag Skins I made today while bored..I think they came out pretty nice. Tell me what might need changed. (They might seem dark in my screen shots but I set my Gamma in game pretty low.)
More to come soon. Going to work on the Base Emblems next i suppose.

I know many people wanted my Config at the beginning of my other thread so I remade another version of it to release. As of right now it's set to wide screen 1650x1050 so if you want it at a different resolution then just tell me and I'll update the version I have and upload them all at once.
I'm not going to upload the config yet..I would much rather wait till I get it updated to the newest Hud Bot because I know I could do some much nicer effects with the huds.
If you want the older version that you see in the Screen Shots above then just ask because I have it uploaded just not linked.
Anyway hope you enjoy the new flag skins. ;)

Sorry about the double posts but it's not letting me edit my last one for some odd reason.
Anyway..I'm really bored.. so for the next few days i'm going to be taking requests for skins and texturing that any of you might have. So if there's something you want made ..send me a PM with a description.

You should wait a while before you get all crazy and stuff.

.png is the "official" format because of the idiotic bitmap flags in the pbmps. There wasn't a way to embed translucent/additive/etc flags inside .tga, so we had to go .png. No .tga support in now, but it will get in eventually.
No .ogg or plugin support yet since it's not high on the radar, but I plan to get them in when we have the other stuff up polished up.
Right now it's still lots of bug fixes and stuff (so many buffer overflows..), and internal changes. vol and bmp are completely removed, software mode is completely removed (pure opengl now, you can play in a window!), a lot of scripting language enhancements, all the scripts have been refactored/re-written, the datablock limit IS raised to virtually unlimited, and the awful IRC client was ripped out entirely.
I need to try getting justin to find the dts exporter source code (if it exists) so that can be updated.

Actually i'm not changing the contrast at all.
i dunno. it does look a bit better though.
Well can't tell a whole lot from a screenshot but using them in game they look fantastic. They are more clear, sharper, and give a nice vibrant look the the game. I wanted to make a change but not over/under do it.
