7 stringstravelyan 04-06-2009, 06:49 PM want to buy a reasonably inexpensive 7 stringer make suggestions SL83 04-06-2009, 07:05 PM $5 dollars AniMisM 04-06-2009, 08:33 PM Schecter or Ibanez SiROiS 04-06-2009, 09:01 PM i own an RG-7 White... its sick. the different sound you can create with this guitar is completely insane... still waiting to figure out when to use it most... i mainly use my SG for any project.. but i want to start implementing some of my 7 string abilities and sounds i can manipulate in future compositions and possibly even in my new band... assfrags 04-06-2009, 10:23 PM Whats the point of a 7th string? What can you do that really makes it worth it? AniMisM 04-07-2009, 11:11 AM Lower tunings. Stilgar 04-07-2009, 11:43 AM Whats the point of a 7th string? What can you do that really makes it worth it? Shut up hunchback of no dame. assfrags 04-07-2009, 02:32 PM How old are you? Stilgar 04-07-2009, 03:43 PM How old are you? How vapid, useless, feckless and worthless are you, my humped man? assfrags 04-07-2009, 06:40 PM stilgar, you're fucking 50 years old, you have all these crazy creds on grammy winning records but you spend more time talking shit on the internet than college students. old_skul 04-09-2009, 04:19 PM I took one of my cheap guitars and strung it with 13-56 strings and tuned it B to B. It sounds....interesting. Not sure if I'd have a use for it. I think one thing I will try is playing it in the goth band and trying to transpose some of the shit we play (mostly in D). If anything, it will have me playing different chord inversions with the other guitar player which will lead to a different sound. Stilgar 04-09-2009, 05:00 PM stilgar, you're fucking 50 years old, you have all these crazy creds on grammy winning records but you spend more time talking shit on the internet than college students. assfrags, you're 20 something with a huge hump on your back arguing with a man who have lived twice as long as you and have more experience in life than you. I work on a computer, so time spent here is de rigur, dolt. You make shit up, too. Go fuck yourself, mkay? Metropolis 04-09-2009, 06:01 PM I'm in the market for a 7 myself and am leaning to either a higher end dean or ibanez with a fixed bridge and emg 707 pickups only. I will not settle for less. however, if you want a cheap one that isnt bad look at the lower level schecters or the agile interceptor 7 string. i'm hearing good things about those and they are like 300 bucks..cant beat that. old_skul 04-10-2009, 01:08 AM The cheapest Agile 7 I could find was $449. http://www.rondomusic.net/photos/electric/interceptorblackflame1.jp g Dean makes a super-cheap one, at $199. http://img3.musiciansfriend.com/dbase/pics/products/5/8/7/548587.jpg | ||
