small reps are there in case you actually survive the fight.

I used to never fit any rep to armor tanks, then regretted it so I fitted pairs of med reps only to get 1 shotted too many times, so the compromise is to fit as much HP as I can, then fit a small rep for after fights. :)

I'm not talking about abandoning T2 ships altogether, but FFS I'd say using T1 every so often is more than justified when you're talking that big a difference.

6.4 mil = 1 hour of VERY UNLUCKY ratting at most.

100mil + ~40 in fittings = sitting in front of your comp for a full evening or two ratting internet spaceships.


Seriously why am I bothering to justify my ship cost to anyone? I just bought a 700mil battleship. :shrug:

I just earn my ISK through PvP instead. -_-' Of course I shoot Goons, which is cheating.

Honestly though, a lot of your setups need a Plate, they have a terrible buffer.

Thanks for this post. I appreciate any good T1 cruiser setups. I've had a lot of fun flying in T1 cruisers.

And I agree if you're going to criticize someone's setup then at least have the common god damn courtesy to offer a better setup rather than saying, "that setup sucks, you're a noob and will never match my EVE skill." Despite being TW these EVE egos seem to be prevalent everywhere outside of Empire space. No one gives a fuck you pasty faced fatfuck you're playing virtual Star Trek.

I'm not sure which skillset you used to post your setups (it's some bastard version between All Level 5s and no skills it seems?) so it's a bit hard to post variations.

Also, 4 lights + 1 medium drones for 30m3 drone bays (like Ruptures) is always more DPS than 3 mediums, not to mention far more effective vs smaller ships.
