I would give you the widescreen hack but it's on an old hardrive and I can't be bothered to dig it up.
i can't find a link to it, but it's in milk's config
copy tribes.exe and wsfix.dll and put them in your tribes directory (overwrite tribes.exe)
then put these in your clientprefs.cs (they might be automatically added in, i don't know, so start tribes up first, quit, and check if they're in there)
$pref::WSHeight = "1050";
$pref::WSMaxFov = "180";
$pref::WSPlayerFov = "105";
$pref::WSWidth = "1680";
for wsplayerfov, 100-110 is good for widescreen

btw it works just fine for me up to 180 so I really dont know what you are talking about. what is that "hole"?

Lol i was really enjoying doing the terrains but it was taking so long and then i didnt know how to do one effect and save it to multiple files at the same time through caching so i never finished them but i do believe i might go for it again and finish them this time and see what comes of them.
