its not like they're gonna throw you off the ship

just put it in your checked baggage

if its still in there when your luggage gets to your cabin, you = win

the first thread was great

but then i asked how xrays work and the thread died

i am going to put it in my checked baggage. and i am going to vacuum pack all my clothes ot make going through it a *****. finally i am going to put locks on my bags.

so really the only obstacle is wehther or not an xray machine sees the outline of a bottle. plastic just seems safer, but also for my general edification how the **** does an x ray machine work? what's the criteria for the like 3 things that show up in bright white while everyhting else is dark

You're going to have to smuggle it in rectally. Just pour it into a ziplock bag and jam it in there. Profit

if you can't afford to buy liquor on the cruise ship

you probably shouldn't be going on a cruise in the first place

my friend smuggled cuban cigars back by cutting off the bottom of a shaving cream container, shoving them in there and superglueing it back together.

I LOCKED MY BAGS SO THEY ARE DEFINITELY NOT GOING TO TRY AND OPEN THEM ONCE THEY SEE THE LOCKS

The screening machines at airports are a little bit different than just your standard X-ray. The machines "color" objects based on material density and thickness. There's also a few extra modes that allow the screener to omit things on top and bring the things below into focus.

Radiologists can see fluid in the lungs--though it's a lot more viscious than water or alcohol, so I dunno.

dude this isn't an issue about natioanl security

its a bunch of underpaid dudes checking huge volumes of baggage. if its locked chances of them bothering are less than if its unlocked
