I'm looking to buy my gf an acoustic guitar. She's a complete beginner. I'd like to stay under $300-400 if possible. Any suggestions?

My wifey plays a Tak - she bought it herself when she was playing solo shows. Benzer 02-12-2009, 08:30 AM Try a Seagull S6 as well. Fat Steve 02-16-2009, 12:10 PM oops Fat Steve 02-16-2009, 12:10 PM Try a Seagull S6 as well. i have this and i fucking love it. it sounded better than the takamine's in the same price range ($500) OtisPAB 02-23-2009, 10:04 PM you can get a solid top cort for under 300... i think. i 've been out of the scene for awhile. anomaly 02-23-2009, 10:39 PM i bought an ibanez, it was on sale i almost bought a low-end martin, but my friends suggested against it proud to say ive owned it for a month and i can play about 25 songs =) im tackling 5 string barre chords this week Archimedes 02-23-2009, 11:27 PM I know Alvarez makes some good lower end acoustics. Minstrel 02-25-2009, 01:08 PM Alvarez and Fender are my favs for this level of accoustic. Profhet 03-11-2009, 11:40 AM In Yamaha's what is their best for under $200 bucks? I still might buy used from someone assuming I can try it out before I buy it, but I'm a little worried I might get screwed buyin used. | ||
