Some newbie questions...

I used to play casually now and I have some free time I'd like to burn so I've started up again.

I have about $70-80ish on PartyPoker but they won't even let me play because I'm from US. Is there a way to cash the remainder in or trade it for another site's through a third party community?

I still have few dollars in Pokerstars so I'm playing micro games. I wanted to make sure I can cash out before I deposit some money. Will pokerstars be pulling out of US anytime?

No, Pokerstars is here to stay. You have nothing to worry about at the moment. I don't think there will be anything done regarding online poker in the near future. What was done a while back really stopped a lot of new players, as well as some online poker vets, from playing [online].

Who knows, though? They are probably still obsessing about all the taxable monies they're missing out on.

Pokerstars is classy shit, though. Certainly no Party Poker. Mike Sexton can eat a dick for breakfast. If you love tournaments, Stars will be fine for you, and even if something should happen and they stop allowing US players to play, you should still be able to withdraw your balance without issue.

Good luck! :D

Doubt you will find that trade. Might as well chalk up losing the money on PP and deposit on stars.

From what I remember, they had a period you had to get your money out before it was locked. But idk i never used partypoker.
