I'm working towards having a career in doing music for games/TV/film. Here's some of my music. I recently upgraded my virtual instruments, so everything sounds a lot better:
Gypsy music:
Equatorial.mp3 - Filefront.com (http://files.filefront.com/Equatorialmp3/;13156613;/fileinfo.html)
Horror/sci-fi percussive piece:
The End.mp3 - Filefront.com (http://files.filefront.com/TheEndmp3/;13136448;/fileinfo.html)
RPG style music:
Eternal.mp3 - FileFront.com (http://files.filefront.com/Eternalmp3/;13107591;/fileinfo.html)
Film score piece:
Creation.mp3 - FileFront.com (http://files.filefront.com/Creationmp3/;13107582;/fileinfo.html)
A lighter piece:
Harmonium.mp3 - FileFront.com (http://files.filefront.com/Harmoniummp3/;13107603;/fileinfo.html)
A darker piece:
Finalwords.mp3 - FileFront.com (http://files.filefront.com/Finalwordsmp3/;13107612;/fileinfo.html)
March/battle piece:
Beginnings.mp3 - FileFront.com (http://files.filefront.com/Beginningsmp3/;13107787;/fileinfo.html)
I'd love to hear feedback!

Beginnings sounds like the opening for a WWII Shooter.
Sounds very cut and pasted together.
There is little in the way of dynamics.
Throw a couple of pauses in there. ;)

Ya, it's definitely the weakest IMO. I'm going to go through all the pieces and add in more dynamics. Thanks for the feedback. :)

Needs more cowbell
Actually, I'm thinking of doing the same thing if this whole rock band career falls through.

Eternal - really nice, but some transitions don't sound correct. 1.40 and 2.15 just sound like they need a few more bars to finish and then to start the next phase.
Creation - good, I did think some of the trills sounded a bit out of character, but I thought it was a nice touch away from the sterotypical creation themes that have been in film and music scores I have seen or played in.
Beginings - In the pauses between 7-15 seconds, there needs to be something more, it feels like a solo is missing or something needs to be created. And like the other guys have said, some transitions sounded misplaced. I think it could also do with a little more power or more dramatics, but thats just personal preference.
Finalwords - not dark enough, needs more edge, but overall is very good.
The end - now thats a bit of creatism, very weird and cool opening. Didn't like the marimba ending though, it was a complete change that didn't work.
Very good on the whole, would like to hear some more what are not just so "light" and more about aggression and power.

Thanks for the feedback!
For Eternal, you're right... I could add in more bars in those areas with a new chord progression to keep it from sounding repetitive. For The End, I'm going to take that Marimba part and use it for a new song. I like the way it sounds, but just not for that piece. Beginnings just needs tons of work. I might end up just salvaging a few pieces of it and creating something new. Finalwords could be given more of an edge by sharpening the sound of the cello/bass strings I think, and perhaps adding some staccato parts to them.

I wouldn't completely give up on beginnings, its got good foundations, just needs tweaking... alot.
And I forgot to mention, not loving the complete absence of brass instruments. As a trumpet player, its a crime to hear such good pieces without them crashing in somewhere :/

I just got some decent brass samples the other day. They'll end up in my pieces soon. I'm still kind of a noob at this so I am learning the nuances of the various instrument groups as I go. I updated The End with a new ... ending, btw, for the link in the above post. It has some trumpet even. :)

Here's a new piece. It has a Spanish gypsy sound to it:

the "creation" one didn't feel right like it was constantly swelling but there was no release of that build up. your god damn music gave me blue balls man.
good on ya for all the others though
