New Build with a New Map

Okay everyone, here is a rundown of the changes that are coming atcha this week!

1. Mirage comes out!
2. Updated Moonshine map - major map changes based on feedback to increase kick-*bumm*ability.
3. Updated Core map - awesome changes on that one
3. Quarry - Sick overhaul based on user feedback -
a) Physical zone (Yellow stripes at bottom of base) act as boost pads to help people get to the top of the base
b) Terrain painting changes to make it easier to see things
c) Base changes to help people be able to chase outgoing cappers more easily.

This is what they probably want to see Stilgar although this is NOT for the next release as far as I know.

The buildings look like piss. I would hope they are place holders.

p.s. not really trying to troll, as I am an avid fan of Legions. But I'll be damned if it aint true.

Buildings have been updated, textures look better, and the flag is placed properly in the middle of the stand now ^^ it's a dream to ski on.

It most definitely is influenced by HudBot. The default configuration will be a marriage what you see in that video with some more contemporary mass-market FPS games in terms of layout and feedback. What you see there is a work in progress and much of the art and layout is placeholder/intermittent.

EDIT: Also, the map looks great. Terrain is smexy.

I'm not sold on Mirage, its hard to LD b/c you can't see anyone coming if you're on top of the flag, and if you are on a pillar you have limited cone of vision. From there, its also hard to get momentum to even attempt to catch a fast capper (particularly if its a back cap route). Obviously, much different if you see them coming from far away.

Im still a newb at this game and this map but I have the same problems with Moonshine too.

played new map for a bit, is nice...
