I would assume it would be a 'trophy' or something.

The Dwarf celebration of Keg End approaches in the Warhammer World. At this time, all of the year's ale must be consumed before the New Year arrives or else a terrible bad luck will befall the brewer and his clan. In response, citizens of the Old World rise to the occasion, holding great bouts of drinking. A certain amount of competitive boasting is traditional as well. The forces of destruction are eager as always to spoil the event by druinking the ale for themselves or by stealing any of the holiday celebrations.

Gain Event influence by completing any of the tasks below. Massive Ogres lurk in the open RvR Battlefields. Brew-Thirsty Ogres, Drunken Gnoblars, and Explosive Snotlings have stolen caches of beer and crates of fireworks. Scouting reports suggest their location to be in the PvE areas along the roads and near major landmarks or Public Quests. Enemy players are also a great source for acquiring any of these items.

Amazingly - rumors of the legendary Golden Stein appearing have surfaced. Scour the RvR Battlefields of Nordland, Barak Varr, Black fire Pass, Praag, Thunder Mountain, and Dragon Wake to obtain it. All those who bask in its foamy radiance will be rewarded. And for the exceptionally lucky participating in any of these tasks may yield the elusive Keg Backpack.

I missed out on a lot of the Heavy Metal rewards out of sheer laziness and procrastination. I won't be making that mistake again :) My Ironbreaker requires a backpack covered in steins and booze.

It's a rare drop though.

I'm curious as to whether the backpack is BoP or BoE....could be seeing them in the AH for thousands of gold after the event.

Ugh, where's the 3 bars in Altdorf at? I've found 2.. the one at the docks and the Lords row one...

Ruthlessly stolen from warhammeralliance:

Bars And Feast Halls
Drink the Keg End Steins!

Altdorf - Mastiff's End near the Mailbox and Bank in the middle of town (has Auctioneers)
Altdorf - Screaming Cat at the westren end of the docks (needs to have City Level 4)
Altdorf - Blowhole at the eastren end of the docks. (it's shaped like a large barrel)

Inevitable City - Char & Bone: NW corner of The Apex. (thanks to InfamousBrad)
Inevitable City - The Feast Hall: south of The Apex, across from the Healer. (thanks to InfamousBrad)
Inevitable City - (name forgotten): next door to The Lyceum (library), just south of it. (thanks to InfamousBrad)

Kegs - Drop off the Keg End mobs and in PvP/RvR.

Fireworks
Small Fireworks can drop off the Keg End mobs and in PvP/RvR.
Impressive Fireworks can drop in PvP/RvR as well as from any of the Keg End Mobs.
Massive Fireworks drop off any of the Keg End mobs, especially Massive Ogre Tyrants, and in PvP/RvR.

I'll post info as I find them, or you can reply to this thread. Feel free to add info for any Tier. This is intended for grinding the mobs for the Inf. and getting the drops. Larger collections of them or easily accessible locations are key.

Massive Ogre Tyrants
These are found in the RvR lakes near Battlefield Objectives. They are Hero mobs, so don't expect to be able to solo them unless you're a FOTM class.

Explosive Snotlings
These are found on the road near chapter towns and PQs. They can blow themselves up. They are usually found in groups of 4 or less. They respawn very quickly.

Dragonwake - South of High Elf chapter 19 at coords 9, 55 (DreamLane)
TM loc 52878, 55649

Brew-Thirsty Ogres & Drunken Gnoblars
Guard the Keg Caches. These are found near PQs in groups of both Ogres and Gnoblars. Higher level chapter PQs have higher level versions of these. Usually found in groups of 2 or 3 each. They respawn several minutes after you drink their Keg Caches.

Dragonwake - Southeast of Order Warcamp (6k, 30k), near fork in the road with bridge going over Fireguard

Caledor - Shrine of the Dragontamer PQ (39626, 54601)

I just got the backpack bitches! Tier 3. (will provide pics at a later time due to Dr. Appt)

It goes on the back, has something like:

+14 toughness
+80 Corporeal Resistance
+80 Some other resistance
+3 morale per second
+2% reduced armor penetration

Use: Throws an explosive porter that does 520 dmg over 12 seconds.

3 Min cooldown

wow that's pretty cool actually. I like the +morale thingy. corporeal resist is always a great bonus too

What did the pack drop from? Player or one of the quest mobs?

I got up to the first reward last night (title). It seems like the inf is going extremely slowly...not a huge deal since the event goes for several more days, but I'm not much of a marathon grinder (okay that sounds funny, but you understand what I mean).

Looking forward to the trophy and teleporty-mug, but I really want the freaking backpack :)
