Dead Ben 11-16-2008, 12:32 PM Has anyone aside from myself thought about rerolling on an open rvr realm. Lots of people complain about not enough rvr with the exception of scenarios, maybe open rvr is the way to go. Just a thought, I know no one wants to continuously watch their backs but seriously, in BE I never saw a lot of people questing or doing PQ's anyway (although I wish there were).
I'll probably try out Dark Crag, seems like the most populated server for open rvr.
DiamondRose 11-16-2008, 12:42 PM Honestly it sucks, that the guild is pretty much dead. But I haven't thought of switching servers. The most though is I have thought about going to another guild. Which I really don't want to do either.
And As for the open server. As much as loved Mordred on DAoC, I'll most likely pass on another reroll. Maybe later though once I get a toon to 40.
Dead Ben 11-16-2008, 12:54 PM yeah, I'm at the spot now where I cannot join Grudge since I'm not high enough yet. Just throwing out ideas. I know "the band" won't be getting "back together" but was just wondering if one or two people had the same thought and we could go level together and check shit out.
boston 11-16-2008, 01:54 PM Explain Open RvR to me. Youre just permanently flagged right?
Well, that was a quick death...
How'd Bioderms doing?
Falhawk 11-16-2008, 02:42 PM pretty good
Iamtehwalrus 11-16-2008, 03:06 PM If people complain there's not enough open rvr, it's because they're in t1-t3. There's plenty of orvr in t4 (esp after the server transfers). If you like ganking/being ganked, then that's a different story.
Gringo 11-16-2008, 03:43 PM There is so much RVR on T4 REM server, it's tough to choose what to do.
Dead Ben 11-16-2008, 04:10 PM well that is good to know.
Why did BE die? I havent played my WP (Vashni) for like a week and now half the guild left lol
Dai Shinzo 11-16-2008, 04:57 PM Probably because everyone else wasn't on for a week and TW players have the biggest case of MMO ADD I've ever seen =O
AeiOwnYou 11-16-2008, 05:00 PM I call 500g!
was this really a surprise though? I knew the second i rolled a Destro on Ulthan that BE would be terribad and left at level 10.

I had called it early too
sucks because there are definitely some quality people around. Maybe some of them will roll destro on REM (actually several have already).
Hellsfury 11-16-2008, 06:00 PM Well, it isn't technically accurate to say that BE is dissolving since a Guild is it's players and as long as the players are still around playing together, it's irrelevant what colors they fly. In this case a good portion of those BEagles are still in Warhammer, but being the more active portion of the group they have opted to move on to a place where their need for more consistent, daily action can be nurtured among equally active players.
If that means that what is left isn't much of a Guild at all now... then I guess we know who on the roster was representing the Guild of Blood Eagles these past weeks in game and in spirit.
WarHero X 11-16-2008, 06:31 PM huh what happened? I was on last weekend and everything seemed fine. Did I miss somthing in the last week?
Lots of people haven't been on for awhile:
Blood Eagle of Red Eye Mountain - Warhammer Online (http://www.wardb.com/guild.aspx?id=7068)
AcrophobiaK 11-16-2008, 06:47 PM I thought really hard about doing oRvR, but here's why I decided not to:
A) There are already zones dedicated to RvR. This potentially makes it easier to find a fight since you don't have to roam the whole zone looking for quest hubs to camp, and an important one for me, people in this zone should be expecting a fight if they're in the area. Ganking people is fun a few times, and then, if you're any good at your class, catching someone zoned out in quest mode and completely off guard just isn't a challenge and isn't very fun.
B) The deal breaker: they made it so that you can go to the tier below you without turning into a chicken. I guess they wanted to give people more opportunity to finish the pve stuff in lower tiers or something, but all this means is that you need to be level 20 if you want to do T1, and level 30 if you want to do T2. It's not as bad as fighting 40s, but you know there are the sort of players who get to level 20 just so they could beat up on lowbies. This definitely happens on oRvR servers.
Hellsfury 11-16-2008, 07:00 PM Well... When people talk about ORvR on REM being broken... they refer to T1, T2 and T3 because it is and it warps their impression of what is expected from ORvR.
T4 is the version of ORvR people who say that it is working refer too.

This blows.. I just got my rune priest to 14, and my white lion to 14.. only had the game a week give or take.. no wonder I never saw more then 1 or 2 guys on, and hardly ever an officer.. so i've yet to ask for an invite yet.
Should I just delete and roll destro?
