I just dont get why Whitelion is so under played. My single target burst damage is some of the best in game. I destory squishies.

Because the pet blew for so long. Probably still does

I'll have to agree on the pet thing, i got so frustrated with the pet ai (squigy/white lion).

hehe, white lion represent. I think it probably is the pet, though it's not so bad now that I have speed training. Micro-managing it can be really powerful, but it's also pretty complicated.

Nah, we definitely are for killing cloth. We don't have an armor ignore, but we are more mobile and have better silences. Also our healing debuff debuffs healing done rather than recieved. We do get a couple of melee damage debuffs also (slow enemy auto attack and lower strength)

Wrong.

We have a move that ignores 50% of armor when behind the target. Also our pet has a debuff that lowers armor by a huge amount. WL gets 1 silence, and thats not till late tier 4. Our melee damage debuffs suck dick also.

Ok, compare that to 75% armor debuff from any direction. I had forgotten about our armor debuffs, but we are still not tank killers. We do have enough to hit cloth and medium like they're naked. Also, a silence we can put on a target besides the one we are attacking is better than just an interrupt (which we also have) The strength debuff isn't that great 20% slower autoattack is pretty nice especially since yu don't sacrifice a ton of dps to use them. Could make the difference between dead healer and surviving healer.

You werent comparing, you said we didnt have armor debuffs/ignores. Using the tactic from lvl 35 i believe, makes slashing blade and sundering chop tons better, the DoT stacks and scales with strength. Also 20% slower autoattack isnt great, since the move uses 45ap. I could use that elsewhere while dpsin. Im not saying we are 100% tank killers, but we can very much so hit big damage on tank classes.

I don't see why this is an argument except for you wanting to call someone wrong. Walrus was curious whether white lions are good at killing tanks like marauders seem to be. My point is that, despite my having looked over our armor reduction, we are best at killing lightly armored opponents and not tanks. Is that wrong?

As for our debuffs, the str debuff is only 25 AP, is improved by axeman spec, and does good damage for the AP. WarDB is claiming 120 less str at 40, and that is a pretty sizeable chunk of dps. The other is 10 AP more than Sundering chop and is not quite as much damage done, but 20% slower autoattack seems worthwhile to me. It's not going to be 20% less damage done I know, but marauders, WEs, and DoKs all dual wield and that will cut down on the number of procs they get from melee hits too. Don't use it if you don't think it's worthwhile, but I think it is if you're trying to peel melee off your ally.

I like arguing. And I like telling people they are wrong. Is that ok? I was drunk when I contributed to this post, that allows me to be an ass.
