So, this was the first time I've made a video. I uploaded it to filefront and warhammermovies.com (whmovies has to aprove it before it gets posted). The file is 338mb in size, and it took 10 mins to do download of filefront... or if you're impatient, you can watch the streaming version that is so horribly small it looks like crap.

He actually did a vgood job of punting the carrier/healers into the lava.
I'm jealous that you can Fraps at that high of a resolution and still have a playable game, whats your system specs?

Yeah, I felt that it was a little over used too. My conclusion was; fuck it. I like the song, and it's not Linkin Park :p:
As for specs, I just built this comp.
C2D E8600
4gb RAM DDR2 800 (dual channel)
GeForce GTX 260
When I ran fraps at 1680x1050 I was only getting around 12 fps during heavy combat, so I dropped the res down to 1440x900 for most of it.
Hellsfury 11-01-2008, 10:54 AM It's good video. I try and run GameCam in the background during open RvR incase anything "fun" happens. I find I have trouble Fraps sucki\ng up all my FrameRate while trying to play.

i think the only way this vid could be worse is if you include a clip of killing giant spiders with 5 friends

Skyler 11-01-2008, 08:37 PM I have a level 32 Grenadier on Sylvania (sorry I didn't roll on your server, sometimes I regret not doing so, too), and I do everything you do in the scenarios. I usually end up with the highest amount of overall exp and damage. Renown still escapes me, though...
I don't have any dedicated healers, everybody wants to do their own thing...As long as I have heals, I am deadly. Otherwise, people yell at me for getting too close, and they don't understand that being a grenadier requires you to be yards closer than somebody who is specced something else.
By the by: did you spec into hipshot?

Skyler 11-03-2008, 09:11 PM The reason I ask, is because somewhere in the middle of the video, you knock somebody back, but I don't see you use your concussion grenade...though, I'll have to watch it again to see if you used Point Blank. It's a very small knockback, though.

prolly Hip Shot with the Tactic .. it knocks back but ites a really small weak one.
Atreides 11-04-2008, 06:55 AM Was the guy trying to get out of the lava? if so, It was strafing run. It has a pretty elaborate animation to it. It shows a red signal flare, followed by bullets marking up the ground, then shadows of gyrocopters overhead.
