Auction House: The New Guild Bank?

So I noticed today that when you crate an auction, you can select the scope of who that auction is available to. The three options are everyone, guild/alliance, and just guild.

Considering the amount of bugs with the guild bank (players not being able to access it, regardless of their rank) and the limited size, it seems like it would be a good idea to put up any items for auction instead. Simply put the auction on a 72 hour duration for as cheep as possible, under the 'guild only' restriction. This would also allow us to put up all the crafting shit we come across that the guild bank didn't have room for.

the problem is bag space.... i dont go to the AH or altdorf often enough to save all those other mats for the guild. I can save the blues and purples and do this but prolly wont be saving greens.

I think I've been to the bank all of once so far, and I'm level 19. It's just too much of a hassle, since there aren't nearly enough flight masters spread around.

That becomes far less of an issue once you get your mount.
