doesnt take too long imo. you can eat while waiting for a match to start, or end. and then eat during game to get health back when medic isnt around.

7 minutes isn't too long. You should just be able to put +attack in the console and walk away. The game will think the fire button is held down and I assume the heavy will eat again as soon as he finishes the previous sandvich. Come back 10 minutes later and you're set.
