Virtually the entire NC was dedicated to holding VFK, so if BoB can break in there, they have virtually no chance of stopping BoB. This will mark the exit of IRON, which will only further weaken the NC.
NAT Mav 08-24-2008, 01:05 PM Yeah, the "Great War" in the South has now basically reversed with the sides flipped, and all the fighting is in the North now. BoB is attacking the NC head-on, advancing through Pure Blind and Fade gobbling up all of RA's valuable moons before moving on to Deklien, where they are now working on taking the 4th station system from IRON after the Titan loss and finally busting the cyno jammer in VFK.
A bit to the East, Triumvirate attacked Hydra, and had little trouble getting a foothold in their space, taking TVN. The NC's attempt to save them by outblobbing TRI backfired, with the loss of 3 motherships when BoB hotdropped on top of them.
A bit farther to the East, various "Russian" alliances have been making land grabs in the drone regions, particularly from IRON and Mostly Harmless, further weakening support for the NC.

Also, i30 apparently fell a couple of days ago, blocking IRON from maintaining ConSov in the JU/S-D area. Since they're also losing their drone region holdings, supposedly they're moving in to Venal.
