Whoever made this movie is intentionally comparing the first section to Get Quaked 3 (http://www.own-age.com/vids/video.aspx?id=6212) which is held as one of the best Q3 frag movies.

Overall, pretty good movie but it I don't think it captures some of the best soldier stuff I've seen

Side note, there's a quake video that was on stage6 a while back that was all trick jumps and shit set to a techno-ish beat, any idea what it's called? All that comes to mind is Tricky or something-Tricky but I can't find shit :(

Anyway, the only thing that makes reptile a great player in that video is his aggressiveness. A lot of those highlights were crits combined with a medic always with him to keep him alive. Granted, the MAs were nice, but the guy is good because he keeps pushing, and doesn't slow himself down with constant reloads (knows to switch to the shotgun where others would continue to reload/fire rockets).

The same goes for any class. An offensive playstyle is what makes a player good. But people are quick to overlook that. If you saw that same video with a pyro, 9 out of 10 idiots would believe the guy was only good because he's using the "cheep/noob/OP'd/no skill" class.

I notice he was getting major hight with his rocket jumps, i loaded that script yesterday and what a difference.

I have played against Reptile plenty of times back when I was playing in Cevo-P, scrims and matches.

There were other soldiers that were just as sick if not more sick at the game. Many players left because the competitive community wasn't thrilled with the randomness of top tier matches, like me.

Don't take me wrong, he is a great soldier.... however, to equate. He is no ]IE[Natural (a person who helped shape the game for future players with innovation and skill).
