Pyro's are pretty "visible", but I'd say they are still more flash then bang. They create a lot of chaos, but if players keep their wits about themselves, they discover it's not really a threat to a team effort.

unless they're crouched in a corner in no-mans land, waiting for that single poor soul to hop in front of the pyro so he can insta kill the dude with the back burner, only to quikcly die to a soldier/demo/sentry/scout/sniper/medic

As a heavy i really have no issues as a pyro, they can strafe till the cows come home but there never getting across the bride or pretty much behind me. it is a overused clas snow and i hate servers that get overran by them.

I think I hate Soldiers the most, then spies, then pyros.

Meh, I usually beat pyros as a medic in open space. Unless they get the surprise attack, they're pretty much doomed.

The normal pyro flamethrower is hardcore now. You're still less useful than soldier or demo, but it is a lot of fun to play.

Some of the ways people play a class just get under your skin. It's not necessarily that they're owning you, or owning the game in any way. They're just that fucking annoying.

As I generally play engineer, I find spies the most annoying. While it is annoyed to get owned by a good spy that takes out your turret and then immediately backstabs you, that's not what really pisses me off.

What really pisses me off is when 3 spies are running around in your base for the whole damned game exclusively to take out my teleporter entrance repeatedly.


Pyros are the second most annoying because they tend to camp in tight corners and wait for an easy kill. Plus, there's the annoying need to locate a health pack or medic unless I feel like losing half my health to a guy I already killed.

the recent patches just suck for soldiers vs pyros..

with the increased health from the backburner and the increased damage to self for soldiers, a soldier is more likely to kill himself than the pyro attacking him
