Friend Passes?

Is Age of Conan doing friend passes? I heard they were, letting people who buy it toss out a free trial for a pal so they can see if they like it? I am a little worried it won't work on my comp so I wanna give it a spin before I buy it.

I look at it this way. In my life I've spent 50 bucks on games I've played for 10 minutes. If I only play AoC for 10 hours its already gotten more play value then some games I've purchased.

well, i only have 3 months before i go to BMT, then off to tech school for like 8 months, so i want something that will last most of that 3 months and not get boring after a few days

Its not really a "will I like it" thing, I wanna see if it runs. I heard its like night and day between the release versions and the versions of the gamespot pvp weekend and OB. I just wanna check it out.

They ship the game with a friends pass thing in the box telling you to log in and get your code... so I doubt it will be that long before they give them out.
