and it was a pre-recorded person saying AoC will be in tomorrow for pickup, but servers wont be live till the 20th. Interesting how they are shipping it out early.

Definitely a fuck up.

All big games get shipped out the week before to make sure that shit is where it's supposed to be on "ship day."

Although since the server are not even up yet, it doesn't pose a big issue. (Other than not being able to play)

Shit they made it available at stores for preorders on the day that preorder access opens up.

Man that's a colossal fuck-up.

I got an email saying it shipped out too. Also a co-worker mentioned a couple of days ago his friend already got his early-access info in their email. So I'm waiting on mine now.

i got mine early this morning haha. i was wondering why it got here so far ahead of time. i thought they were making people download the head start.

Yeah well I placed the pre-order on 03/19, and it was for early-access and the in-game mount and such and I never got an email. Fuck gamestop.com, I'm not pre-ordering at the site again. I would say I'd never buy from them again, but they have a monopoly on retail games now, pre-ordering them anwyay.

I called Best Buy yesterday to try to preorder for early access, but they said they were sold out. So I called Gamestop and they said they aren't taking preorders because the game is out, but they have copies in the store I can buy. I was wondering wtf was going on since the website says it doesn't ship until 5/20.


I drove up there to see if they really were selling them, the guy sold me a copy of the game, and had 1 early access/war mammoth ticket left. Guess I lucked out.
