Free WoW Servers.

I've been playing on Wowscape lately and frankly I'm having a lot more fun on this server than at any other time during retail. It's free, stable and most importantly it doesn't try to whip you to death with timesinks. I'm on the 5x exp server (10x quest) and since I can use hacks when no one is around I've managed to hit 60 without it feeling like a second job (plus I can fly).

I'm not sure if it used to be a lot worse, but all the worthwhile content works, the server rarely crashes and only for a short time (5-10min), the population is large and engaged in all types of PvP. More importantly though nothing gets handed to you. It's basically retail for free without all the tedium.


Anyone else playing on WoWcrack?

I just got hit with this last wave of Glider bans, so I'm trying this as we speak. I started a druid, however the lack of getting maul at all has kind of turned me off to them right now.

Probably will roll Lock, are things decent skill-wise with them?

And how is Outlands content?

I got hit with the glider bans today too. I was having fun on the wowscape battleground server. But as always with the bg servers, the lack of skilled players is obvious.

Lack of maul? I made a warrior and the only broken skill is overpower because the game doesn't know when I dodge. All the quests that give skills are completable.

Can you be more specific about outland content? As far as I know it's all there and scripted.

Warrior? We were never talking about warriors! Maul is a druid skill, just like the warrior's heroic strike.

I know. I'm just confused about why you can't get maul.

Hit 10, learned druids don't do a bear quest. You learn it at the trainer.

Go to trainer, learn Bear form. Maul isn't gained, nor can I train it. Demo roar is available though, although that isn't a worthwhile ragesink..

My warrior had to quest for taunt and intercept and even though the quests weren't the same as retail they worked. I'd be shocked if it wasn't the same for druids.

which server are most of you negrons on? i was thinking of doing the wowstorm one just so i can get to 60 and skip the boringness of WoW (1-60)

Or it could be because Overpower doesn't activate when you dodge on retail either.

WoWstorm has several problems: the big one is that everyone starts at 60. this sounds great until you start trying to do anything in outlands - or running to outlands, esp. deadwind pass; speedhacker PKs run rampant through that server for some reason and the GMs are either not responding to tickets or doing w/e - for hours at a time. generally, the other ones are run a bit better though.

i just started on wowscape again, and i play on wowcrack. if any of u need help u can /w me. been playing my mage the most, Iniquitous. gf has most enchants, and can make bags for u.

Are you on horde on wowscape? I just got my tauren druid to 70 yesterday, and I'll probably make an alliance character to 70 next weekend.

First BT run and I get chest, legs, shoulders, 4 new rings, new neck, non set healing shoulders, and the best feral dps druid boots in game. Fucking awesome.

but haven't you heard? it's only fun if you have to dedicate a major portion of your life to obtaining the pixels

i tried free servers, it would be cool if they worked right but imo they never did.

People will say OHHH 90% of the skills work, sadly the 10% that dont work kill any kind of balance in the game even more.
