Haven't played, should I purchase?

I haven't played TF2 yet. I'd kind of like to, but I heard that the number of players playing online has dwindled considerably, is this true?

Would you recommend the purchase? (I expect a lot of people now have a good opinion on whether it is a good game or not)

I love the game. The server I like to play are still pretty full. I have noticed that some of my Steam friends have been on less, though.

It's pretty addictive. Moreso if you join a team and get some ladder/league games in.

Theres tons of servers... Always somewhere good to play.

At the very least, it's worth the money.

i think its worth it. I never liked FPS games until this game came around. It's simple yet still very fun. I like all the classes even after playing them for a long time, which is something I can't say about many other games. I think the game will also get a lot better when the achievements for all of the other classes come out, which shouldn't be too long. Plus goldrush is a lot of fun :)

Does TeeDub have any TF2 teams going atm? I started playing it again after the latest update and might be looking for a team.

I *don't think* there's strictly a TDub team, but there's several people here on various teams (in TWL, etc.)
