At 100 hours you should be in your 60s

I'm tired of all the "You should level this fast" stuff. I'm sick of playing the game and feeling like I can't even enjoy it because I have to level my character as fast as humanly possible. It's more stressful than fun.

I choose not to level this way anymore. No more guides, no more reading checklists on where to go. I just use tomtom and lightheaded, grab quests, kill whatever, relax, and try to have fun. I never check my time played anymore either.

It's a game. It's supposed to be fun. It feels more like work to me to play this way. I won't rush the clock at all.

I will just leave my character sitting at the Auction House while I cook some fried rice or something. I don't care about time played, it's all bullshit anyway. Your time played doesn't matter or make your character stronger or weaker. It's all just for bragging rights.

Leveling my Shaman as fast as I did made me feel like more of a chump than a pro. I'm proud of how slow my warrior is going lol. I'll get to 70 when I get there. No rush at all.

btw wow has always been world of solocraft. There has always been a penalty on xp for grouping.

Which sucks, I think one thing everyone can agree on is grouping is alot funner than solo.

that never made sense to me. you solo your way up, then everything that's worth something at cap lvl requires a group or a raid. seems kinda dumb. you play in an isolated world lvling up, then at cap lvl you have to find all these competent ppl.

i came to wow w/ a group of ppl from daoc, so i had ppl i knew i would play w/ at 60. it would've really sucked otherwise

in daoc, it was actually useful while lvling to group up and kill mobs higher than you. it made the xp insane. i remember goblin groups, then tree groups, on my minstrel ;o there was a point to grouping while lvling

i think now, even more than when the game came out, lvling is a strictly solo experience, unless you have friends that will power you through instances. no one is exploring any more, and all the quests that would've required groups have been nerfed to hell. kind of a shame

i think its good if you can take it slow and enjoy where you are at
i know i want to
im in it for the journey not the destination

its funny b/c it seems to parallel with real life a little bit

like alot of people live their personal lives like they are powerleveling or something lol and never taking the time to actually enjoy the moment

You mean except for the Cabalists soloing the goblins, Sorcerers soloing trees and Necros soloing purple undead.

In shadowbane I could exploit to max level in about 2 nights... I have no idea how many R6s I deleted.
