TonyElTigre 05-08-2008, 01:51 PM uh
I mean I don't PUG but if I did...as a fury warrior...I'd have a hard time finding groups.
I plan to respec to arms soon to do more pvp/arena (probably when S4 comes out) and that won't endear me to 5man's either.
arms dps is no better for instance groups until you get well beyond 5 or even 10 man content.

oh yeah I know that but I'll be more effective in pvp/arena
Heimdal 05-08-2008, 04:22 PM what does bad itemization mean?
i just got my enh shammy to 60 so this got me concerned.
itemization is actually better in outlands
and meaning you can actually find good slow weapons for both hands, not just main. as most slow axes and hammers are in azeroth. 2x fist of reckoning is definitely the way to go. once you hit 61 you will be set.

Isn't part of the latest patch notes taking the bulk of MH weapons and making them 1H? Wouldn't that make it even easier for DW'ing?

Yeah, i run a traditional arms arena build too. Just for PvE at least warriors have the luxury of using any of the trees, its far less pigeon holed than most classes
samUwell 05-19-2008, 11:22 AM Ok this is the easiest question to answer.
2x Fist of Reckoning : Fist of Reckoning - Items - World of Warcraft (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=31139)
2x Crusader : Enchant Weapon - Crusader - Spells - World of Warcraft (http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=20034)
well..... i bought one of the Fist of Reckoning - Items - World of Warcraft (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=31139) for 150g, been searching everyday for another one and for some reason, they all sell for 250 to 300g. it would appear i lucked out on my first purchase.
so, i did some more reading on weapons and i bought Axe of the Legion (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=31153) for a 100g and put Enchant Weapon - Crusader - Spells - World of Warcraft (http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=20034) on both of them.
from what i understand, i should be putting the slower weapon in the OH?
i hope i didnt royally screw up by doing this?
xpdnc 05-19-2008, 04:01 PM Shouldn't really matter as long as they're both as close to 2.7 as you can get them.
samUwell 05-19-2008, 05:35 PM thanks!
*fucken go figure.
last night after i bought the axe, someone else put up another mace for 105 bid, 200 buy out.
this is why i never buy shit on the AH. grrr!
Heimdal 05-19-2008, 05:41 PM i got pretty lucky on my shaman and found 2 fists up for 50g each. i felt like i robbed the guy, but oh well haha.
SniperOmega 05-19-2008, 07:02 PM ive got a 70 mage, 70 rogue. and i vote druid
aim for full stack on agi, as ferel dps. you can dps, offtank, and throw emergency heals, along with aspects and omen of clarity.
(along with the talent for +healing for each agi)
you can have a bunch of specs:
ranged dps (boomkin)
melee dps (cat)
tank (bear)
heal (with tree pve, without tree pvp)
Osiris 05-19-2008, 09:28 PM I've dumped about 250g on my warrior....and if my weapons weren't at my level it definately affected my abilities.
As a warrior I see tons of fury and arms specs complaining about getting into pugs, fact is if you are pure dps they want cc too. However you will not have a problem at all as prot. So basically if you want to competitively PVP and participate in PVE look at alot of respecs.
Just lie and say you're prot specced. Warriors can tank with any spec. I tanked heroic SP with a blue-geared priest.
Rurouni 05-19-2008, 09:47 PM (along with the talent for +healing for each agi)
wtf lol
Ciceron 05-19-2008, 10:32 PM wtf lol
Nurturing Instinct
Rurouni 05-19-2008, 11:21 PM Nurturing Instinct
yes. wtf lol at getting that talent.
Ciceron 05-20-2008, 12:15 AM yes. wtf lol at getting that talent.
I guess if you're leveling the extra +heal helps.
I dunno, I don't play a druid. :p:
leetdemon 05-21-2008, 08:44 PM i was plenty happy with my 70 hunter for all those saying you will hate it at 70.. hunters are always fun 10-70 anyway :)
SniperOmega 05-21-2008, 11:12 PM yes. wtf lol at getting that talent.
for leveling and when 70 for pvp
this discussion is about someone leveling up and probably hitting 70. not 25-mans.
by the time he gets to raiding blizzard will have patches a few monkey wrenches in every class.

i leveled to 70 before the change, and had no mana problems whatsoever self healing with 0 +heal. it gets even easier once you get ooc again... healing touch will cost 0 if you time it right. you don't need the talent, so wtflol.
slick spic 05-22-2008, 04:02 AM getting nurturing instinct while lvling is stupid. you never have mana problems since you'll go through three or four mobs before you need to heal yourself. in that time, all your mana would be regenned again.
you don't get a bonus from the getting healed aspect of it because you probably won't ever be grouped. if you're doing an instance, chances are you'll be expected to tank, so you'll be in bear and won't get the bonus.
