Question on the Scare Beast change on the Druid side. I'm aware all of their feral forms classify them as beasts, but is the Moonkin form considered a beast? Is the Life Tree form elemental?

moonkin is humanoid, tree is elemental

I don't see scare beast as a huge issue. Druids can shift faster than Scare Beast can cast can't they?

What is the cast time on forms, "Premonition"?

(Scare Beast is instant in 2.4.2)

I can only assume based on the talk resto druids are the ones everyone is lauded/cursing and since the other forms aren't considered beasts the reason this is an issue is druids have to be either popping forms constantly to escape roots or they bear up to bulk on armor.

although the insta is nice, i think it hurts competent hunters more.

most good hunters used the cast time to pop (resto) druids out of bear in arena. that would let them either sting the druid in caster or make the druid shift back to bear. it was a ghetto mana burn on druids. the druid either eats the fear or spends mana shifting/taking dmg in caster. the insta doesn't allow for that

this just means it'll be used to try and create situations where you can dump on the druid's partner instead. it'll have a different use, that's all

this'll hurt feral druids mostly, obviously. there's really not a lot feral druids can do to stay on hunters with this. between scatter shot, concussive shot, wing clip, and the insta fear, something is always gonna be available. if somehow everything is magically all down, the hunter can just spam wingclip and force the druid to burn all his mana shifting. it'll be dumb

Yeah, that's my main beef with the arena and the rating requirements. It's pretty retarded to have them when some classes are disadvantaged compared to the others.

I know I have the potential to hit 2.2k in S4 for the shoulders, but I play on a very small server, so it's hard to find a partner with the same potential. My current priest is alright, but he has much to learn.

Oh well, it feels good picking up the shoulders while playing what is arguably the most gimped arena class right now.

Well, classes all have a role somewhere... but not necessarily with as many team combos in 2v2 and 3v3 where it's a lot more R-P-S and unforgiving. All classes, not all specs...

you can apply the sting to a drood in caster, and then scare when he shape shifts?

that would be pretty sweet

The sting doesn't do anything in bear form...

Unless the druid is shifting to travel or moonkin.
