Earlier in the year, I wanted to put on some weight for my hockey season so I was taking Creatine and Nitric Oxide. I put on about 17 pounds in two months and kept it throughout the season for the most part. I decided to get off the Creatine and obviously deflated now.

Just curious as to what you guys take and why.

nowadays, multivitamin only

i took protein shakes as well when i was bodybuilding

this is the part of my post where i do my usual sup-thread soapbox shit:
they are called supplements for a reason, bust your ass in the gym, waste of money in general, eat real food, etc. etc.

fish oil
greens++ sometimes
5htp sometimes

I was taking creatine, but i honestly don't think it did anything. I was doing 5+ grams a day, and drinking more than enough water, but I didn't seem to get any heavier at all. Might have slightly increased my weights, but it's tough to say.

edit: found a really good non biased source on creatine http://www.absolute-creatine.com (don't let the name fool you)
I think I'm going to get back on it for a while, as it sounds like you're a fool not to take it.

protein
ZMA
creatine
n.o.xplode
fish oil

protein zma creatine and fish oil are no brainers
n.o.xplode provides a pump for my own satisfaction and a caffeine based energy boost which i love.

If money had anything to do with it, i wouldn't touch anything but the protein.

Cheap Multi (one-a-day I think?)
Extra Calcium (I don't drink a lot of milk)
Extra Vitamin D (in winter)
Creatine
Whey Concentrate
Concentrated Omega3 (at least 300 EPA/200DHA per capsule)

Pretty boring, but the money I save is better spent on good food.
