I define casual as a state of mind, rather than anything concrete.
I know myself I'm a fairly casual guild leader in that I am not overly concerned about progression. The best example I can give is Kael's trash is on a 2 hour timer. Once we kill the trash, if we don't kill him within those 2 hours, we'll be clearing trash again the next raid night. No matter how close we are to killing him (57% P4 first night) I won't push the envelope.
Some nights, we go up to 3 hours (12:30). For the most part, we call it after we accomplish a goal. So, if our goal is to get Gorefiend tonight, and we get him, and it's not 11:30 EST, I will call the raid usually.
And keep in mind pessi, the reason we're this far behind the curve is because we started 9 months after everyone else. If we had started at the same time, we may be 1-2 months behind, and a lot of hardcore guilds that suck are 1-2 months behind.
