HypnosisFX 05-05-2008, 01:44 PM Can't remember.
I was playing as heavy and a random medic hit me up with it and jesus i took out 4 sentry guns, all 4 engies and there dispenser's. Very ugly thing to see walking through 2 fort when that happens.
Think 24/36 achievements?
CarpeIppon 05-05-2008, 05:39 PM really 26 of 39
shaka_zulu705 05-05-2008, 07:14 PM why do you play 2fort so much. that has to be the most boring map ever.
cuz he's a big fat NUB
duh
HypnosisFX 05-05-2008, 08:24 PM cuz he's a big fat NUB
duh
moron, i play cause my brother like playing there. i normally play on full rotation servers. only nub here is the one calling the other a nub.
Hellsfury 05-06-2008, 01:11 AM Anyone having good success with the Kritskrieg or do you prefer the Ubercharge?
HypnosisFX 05-06-2008, 06:06 AM well i think when the medic use's the Kritskrieg he is still able to be killed. so i would rather go uber than krits unless we needed to take down a set of sentry guns.
Hellsfury 05-06-2008, 12:48 PM The UberCharge appears to be more readily useful. A little more "Idiot-Proof" on a pub server then the KritsKrieg. Though, with the KritsKrieg, you have to use a different strategy, you can't just assume you're instantly going on a tear like you would with the UberCharge. To often, I deploy the Krits and the guy ahead of me can't even score a single kill with it... or I explode on contact. It doesn't instill the sense of flight in the enemy like the UberCharge does.
You have to perceive the moment for Krits ahead of time, unlike the UberCharge which most players deploy more as the moments arise. THe UberCharge I can deploy defensively to save myself... where as the Krits I am always at the mercy of the guy linked to me.
I wonder how it will match up with the special addons for the other classes. I hope they patch those into existence soon.
kritz + experienced demo = wrecking crew
HaPpY 05-06-2008, 03:28 PM can you have an uber and kritz on you at the same time?
can you have an uber and kritz on you at the same time?
I believe so.
scandal 05-06-2008, 04:21 PM The normal Uber works as an "oh shit" button for the medic, which I like a lot.
PyroTeknik 05-07-2008, 01:09 AM kritz + experienced demo = wrecking crew
Yar.
8 crit stickies can spell doom for an entire team.
I've seen an ubered+kritz pyro. Hilarity ensued.
Hellsfury 05-12-2008, 08:31 PM The Kritzkrieg was fixed. It now charges faster then an Uber which makes it a lot more useful.
The Key to a good Kritz-Blitz is not charging into the enemy without regard for danger like you would an UberCharge. The enemy doesn't run away. You need a class that can reach out a touch someone, I love Demomen and Soldiers for this task as long as you are connected up with a player who is aggressive and has good aim. I player who can't hit for shit and doesn't kill anything even when he's dishing out 3 times the damage isn't the player you want to team up with. Nor is the player who is overly cautious.
Last night I was on Dustbowl and things were just comically bad on my team. I said to ScoobySnack.... this is joke right? Red Team was completely impotent against the onslaught and we were quickly down to the last CP with nearly the max allowable time bonus on the clock.
That's when Noot joined.
As a medic, I tag teamed with Noot when ever I could. Noot is a destroyer of worlds with a Rocket Launcher. I had 0 kills as a medic up this point (not common for me) and maybe a few assists. However, this quickly changed as I quickly ascended to the top of the scoreboard (still lacking any kills).
At one point, this pain train of the apocalypse annihilated 2 full waves of Blue Team near-single handedly. I flipped on the Kritzkrieg and Noot Rocket-Jumped high into the air (like, touch the skybox high) and unloaded a devastating volley of Crit Rockets. The first rocket touched down and vaporized 5 guys instantly. Then a single crit-kill followed buy a double or triple (I couldn't tell, the killboard was rolling over to quick). Blue-Bits were flying everywhere effectively doubling Blue Teams respawn timer.
It was glorious. King Leonidas would have been proud.
HypnosisFX 05-12-2008, 09:28 PM What server you guys play on, do you have a vent?
HypnosisFX 05-12-2008, 10:08 PM to go along with your story here is a song.
Let us have peace, let us have life
Let us escape the cruel night
Let us have time, let the sun shine
Let us beware the deadly sign
The day is coming
Armageddon's near
Inferno's coming
Can we survive the Kritzkrieg?
The Kritzkrieg
The Kritzkrieg
Save us from fate, save us from hate
Save ourselves before it's too late
Come to our need, hear our plea
Save ourselves before the earth bleeds
The day is dawning
The time is near
Aliens calling
Can we survive the Kritzkrieg?

HypnosisFX 05-13-2008, 06:08 AM I hate playing on a bad team, i played a little yesterday on goldrush, i felt like i was doing all the work, i set up my sentry and got about 45 kills defending the cart at the second point while 7 snipers with bad aim were getting killed by 1 good sniper.
stop playing on nub servers
