I was just wondering, how did you meet your favorite guild that you've been in? I always have trouble finding a good guild and was just wondering how most of you found a good guild. Alot of you in here seemed to have been in a good guild at one time or another so I just thought I'd ask.

Define good guild, do you mean well progressed or friendly?

Just the guild you had the most fun in I guess.

In that case it would simply be my alt guild, just a bunch of laid back people who occasionally do pvp or kara. We know most of each other on a first name basis and just like fuck around.

oddly enough, I've met all my guilds through the wow forums and have liked them all

I've only really been in one guild that I liked. I met them in game back in the day when everyone everywhere was level 30 at most (2nd day of release)

I got invited when I saved one of their dumbass members from getting assraped in wetlands by a band of murlocs.

Just a bunch of laid back peeps who mostly pvp together.

Never really been in a guild I liked. My raiding experiences are full of total idiots, AFKers, potheads, alcoholics, officer cliques and spouses. I knew my last serious guild was in trouble when my PUG Kara did better than the guild Kara. I started up again recently and am approaching 70, not looking forward to finding a guild again.

Two sources mixed into one: TribalWar and my old DoD server

Before WoW, I played Asheron's Call 2 with ICFire and a band of merry men known as [OwA]. When WoW launched, I asked if it was alright if I carried OwA over to WoW, since most of the AC2ers were staying put.

When I launched OwA in WoW, I had a bunch of DoD and CS buddies interested in WoW as well, so they joined my guild on launch day. After a few months, OwA kind of died as some of the more hardcore members hit 60 and got impatient to raid, but the majority of them formed a new guild. After a while, I joined them, and for the most part we've been together since then.

Sorry, I know that doesn't help you :(

Haha, well I figured most people probably found their guilds from here or previous games but like PoorDoggy, I haven't really ever found a legitimate guild.

I've liked three guilds. #1 was playing with people in the 20-29 bracket while leveling and getting friendly, joining their guild. #2 Was a friend of that guild leaving to join a raiding guild, going with him, and liking it. #3 was rolling alliance with a friend who rolled alliance to play with friends. A friend of a friend is a friend, unless you think they're a faggot.

I just play with people from TW. It's way more fun if you know the people and I really don't care to spend 4 days straight trying to kill a single boss.

JC and Rebel introduced me to Hereafter, which was awesome to make racist comments and insult the female class leaders demanding they return to the kitchen.

My new guild is pretty okay I guess. It's really just me and one other guy getting drunk or high during a raid and by the end of the night singing DONT YOU FORGET ABOUT ME into vent.

I had fun in a lot of guilds.

They were all sequential though. Started in a guild of tribes players, merged with another guild who I raided with up till C'thun. Left them to join an "elite" guild of the server's best players. Before that no horde on my server had killed C'thun. Raided with this new guild through naxx till Saph.

In terms of shooting the shit having fun it was def the first guild with the |E| guys. For enjoyable raiding it was that last guild.

Currently my alliance character is in a guild I joined at 50-something. The guild leader was leveling an alt at the same level as me and was highly competant. At this point though the guild has flagged and can no longer even do SSC. Hell we can't even fill a Kara.

hereafter was cool, I don't really see why they broke up. Are any of them left on the server?

Current TW guild is tolerable, couple of non TW faggots in it though.
