Anyone else get severe lag after joining certain servers? Not all servers just some of them... they appear normal from the server list with a good ping, but after I join... hell in a hand basket.
The only similarities I can draw are:
I joined using the link in my friends list
These servers use custom sounds.... (I see them trying to download).
Anyone else get this problem?

I'm not sure if that's what you mean, but since the latest updates, my game starts freeze lagging (sound loops and freeze for about 5-10 seconds) every 20-30 seconds until I alt+tab and come back in or quit. It seems to happen after a few rounds and then it just becomes unplayable.

It started right after the last big update (prior to the medic achievement update, like a few weeks ago or something).

The ping just races up and down... from 80ms to 650+ms and everything in between.

I think your right cause when i join Jigglys Fun House my pings are going between 10ms-400ms, but on the IO servers i stay at a nice 5 ms.

could be the refresh bug... where your server list keeps refreshing by itself.... This happens when you use friends list to join games especially if you set it to autojoin, the way to stop this is to just go to the server list, refresh and press stop yourself
