went up in squats today

warmed up with 135x6, then did 225x5 215x5 and 185x8 (ass to floor of course)

Took the last 2 weeks off of heavy leg day and replaced it with 3 15 minute speed cycles of squats, side to sides, box jumps, lunges, front load squats, goblet squats, and 3x20 weighted calf raises.

5'11" 173lbs right now

(previous squat max was 215x5)

interestingly enough yesterday I threw in an extra core\back day, so I wasn't exactly fresh.

squatted today

did 135x10
225x6

went for 315, been working on it for a few weeks hoping to get some full ATG reps instead of ~80% down
first rep was probably 75% then went all the way down on rep 2 and couldn't get back up :\

had a spotter but hadn't quite figured out how to utilize one, but i think this fail and the subsequent sets showed me how

quickly took off the plates then did 225x8
275x6
245x5
