:)

Hunters

Aspect of the Viper: This ability now grants an additional amount of mana each 5 seconds equal to 35% of the hunter’s level.
Boar Charge: This ability will no longer make Growl cast immediately after it generates excessive threat.
The pet ability Growl will no longer scale with pet Attack Power.
Dire Ravens in Blade’s Edge Mountains now tameable.
Scare Beast: The range on this spell has been increased to 30 yards and it is now instant cast.
Tamed Drywallow Snappers now will know Bite 5 (instead of Claw 5.)

In what could be the biggest change in 2.4.2, Hunters are getting a pretty generous buff to the spell Scare Beast. Not only is the range ballooning from 10 yards to 30 yards, but it will have an instant cast time as well. Well it does have limited application in PvE, this will be huge in PvP, for one simple reason: It will work on Druids in forms.

Are they trying to up the hunter % in arenas? Cause this is a pretty overt way of doing it...

Not that I'm complaining since my main alt is a huntard.

wow druids got a major shaft...

not just the scare beast buff but bliz fucked natural perfection up too... 80% of the procs came from white melee hits.

Talent: (Restoration)- Natural Perfection will no longer proc by normal melee attacks.

Mailboxes can now be tracked on the minimap.
Um... Okay can you make the game any more noob-friendly? How hard is it to find a mailbox? You hit the innkeeper one, and a mailbox is 100% right there, and in some places there are extras around. Seriously trying to see how low the lowest common denominator goes?
Most Main-Hand weapons are now One-Hand weapons.
Okay now what will this do besides allow rogues/shamans/warriors a lot more DW'ing options? I was under the impression the MH weapons had a slightly higher item level than an 1H counterpart of the same item level requirement. I mean why else would they restrict some weapons to the right hand only?

so why not..

I'm glad you brought all that up, Feannag. Very good points of discussion.

That's not a bad thing. So out of all the changes you chose a safe one to complain about but obviously fucked it up...

At least you're consistent in your idiocy.

Nightfall now has a chance to fail on targets over level 60.
I was gonna post to bitch about how this made no sense until I realized it was under the Items section and not referring to the Warlock Nightfall.

Creature versions of the Polymorph spell no longer heal the affected target.
Shade of Aran just got a little harder for us n00b guilds.

so they gave all the mobs in the game the polymorph buff that every mage has been crying for...

yeah thats fucked, its like the biggest mage QQ on the forums so they tossed it on the mobs. its not fair if a mobs polymorph heals, that would just be broken
