Before patch 2.4 came out I made a suggestion on the WoW forums that they increase the range on scare beast and remove the cooldown. My idea was to make hunters the anti-druids. This isn't quite the same, but I think I like the instant cast better anyways.
Druids are going to hate me:
Freezing trap -> aimed shot/multishot/arcane shot -> fear -> aimed shot/multishot/arcane shot -> wyvern sting (I have a very annoying battlegrounds spec) -> aimed shot/multishot/arcane shot
At first I was excited about the change but someone pointed out that druids have a high nature resist and hunters have a low spell hit. The resist on the spell could easily be over 50%.
