We didn't have any support or capital fleet in place anywhere to respond.

Dirty tricks were and will be how most of these things die, unless CCP does some to drastically alter the Titans so that blobs of them don't become the I-win button.

I'm a bit surprised to hear you guys had the thing deployed with no cover though, that's an incredibly risky thing to do for this exact reason. Solo Titans especially need to be covered at all times, IMHO.

Until Razor and all other alliances decide to never use spies. I'll might then listen to them bitch about damage a spy has done. I'm fairly certain that if rzr had a spy in an alliance that owned a titan and was able to help with the destruction of it. They'd be the first to jump in on the "meta gaming" bandwagon.
